TAROX Unveils High-Performance Brake Systems for Land Rover Defender L663

Osnago, Italy – TAROX, a world leader in bespoke braking systems, has officially launched a high-performance brake upgrade for the L663 model Land Rover Defender. Developed in on their own Defender 300 90 ensuring an ability to rack hundreds of hours in research and product testing allowing small refinements in not only performance but comfort when used in a typical daily scenario.

The Defender was one of the first vehicles to be equipped with the latest in new technology from TAROX the E34 4 piston Electric parking brake caliper. This important development in aftermarket performance caliper technology.

The E34 caliper seamlessly integrates with the OEM handbrake motor while adding huge amounts of performance from the billet alloy 4 piston caliper. Upgrading the rear to this level of performance drastically improves the overall braking.

The fronts are equally impressive. The ultimate goal with the front brake system was to be able to deliver the same power and performance as the largest brakes available on a Defender while fitting in an 18’’ wheels. As more Defenders are actually being used in real off-road situations the ability to reduce wheel size so larger more purposeful tires can be used.

It was fair to say Tom was impressed. ‘TAROX have manged a to create a brake system that offers huge amounts of usable power while reducing weight and clearing an 18’’ wheel’
TAROX’s Philosophy for a brake system designed for the use on the street is always clear;
Increace performance providing the perfect balance of power and pedal feel.
